WHY IS THERE A REFUNDABLE CREDIT CARD HOLD OF $25.00 IN MY CART?

We won't know the actual price of the item you ordered until it is weighed. This $25.00 refundable credit card hold accounts for any variances in overweight items. Your order is initially processed using estimated pricing, based on the approximate average weight per item. Meats are sold by the kilogram and cuts vary in size. Once we weigh the item, we will know the exact price.

You will then be issued a refund for any variances in price. If the items are underweight, you will be issued a credit for the difference. 

Please note that it may take 5-10 business days for the refund to be reflected on your bank statement.

For example:

You order a chicken for $14.99, and with the refundable credit card hold ($25.00), the total credit card charge comes to $39.99.

After assembling the order, the price of the chicken is actually $15.49.

We automatically refund you $24.50 and email you a revised total that shows the refund which you will also see on your credit card statement, so all you pay for is the actual price plus delivery.

The same situation applies if a product is under the estimated weight. You will still be credited the amount owing.

Example #2:

You order a chicken for $14.99, and with the refundable credit card hold ($25.00), the total credit card charge comes to $39.99.

After assembling the order, the price of the chicken is actually $12.99.

We automatically refund you $27.00 and email you a revised total that shows the refund which you will also see on your credit card statement, so all you pay for is the actual price plus delivery. 

 

WHEN WILL I SEE THE ACTUAL TOTAL THAT MY CARD WILL BE CHARGED?

Once the order is processed we will send you an email with the actual price of your order. You will receive that email the day your order will be delivered. You will also be sent a notice of refund that will be applied to your credit card to make up any difference.

 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?

If you wish to receive same day delivery, your order MUST be placed by 10:00a.m. Your order will then be delivered by 6:00p.m. that same day.

We currently deliver within the Greater Ottawa Area.  

 

WHAT IF MY DELIVERY DID NOT ARRIVE AS EXPECTED?

Our team always does their absolute best to ensure your order is packed with care prior to leaving our facilities in the hopes that it makes it to your doorstep in the best condition possible. Since we use a third party courier service to support our deliveries, unfortunately, once your order leaves the store, we are often unable to control its conditions on the transport vehicle.
